The dewatering screw press is a main equipment for coagulation and dewatering. It is mainly composed of a screw, a cylindrical cage and a cone. The flexible coupling connects the screw shaft to the output shaft of the reducer. The equipment can be widely used in the dewatering operation of high humidity residue materials before drying.

 

In the dewatering screw press, the screw is composed of a joint thread and a collar alternately sleeved on the screw shaft, and each thread and the collar are respectively fixed on the screw shaft by a key. In addition to the three-section isometric continuous thread in the first section, the other sections are single-turn open type, the pitch of each section is different, gradually decreasing from the low pressure side to the high pressure side, and the diameter of the hub is gradually increased to increase the pressure. The outer casing of the dewatering screw press cylinder is composed of a rafter plate composed of cages fixed on the skeleton, and is divided into two halves by a bolt on a vertical center line to be detached for cleaning and maintenance. The cages constituting the rafters are separated by spring pieces to form a longitudinal slit to allow moisture to flow out.

 

A scraper is arranged on the upper and lower sides of the cylinder, corresponding to the position of the collar on the screw, and the function is to prevent the rubber from rotating with the screw, forcing the rubber to change the direction and position of the advancement, and forming a loose porous shape to Conducive to drying. There are four jackets for heating or cooling outside the cylinder, which can control the temperature inside the machine according to the process requirements.

 

There is also a non-negligible component on the dewatering screw press, which is the cone, which can be moved back and forth to match the ring fixed to the screw shaft. The area of the outlet orifice is increased or decreased by the forward and backward movement of the cone to change the pressure inside the machine, thereby adjusting the dehydration rate.
