Separation process of spiral discharge decanter centrifuge Oct 11, 2018

The separation process of the spiral discharge decanter centrifuge is divided into several different stages, like the other separation equipment. The first is the mixing and acceleration phase. The slag-containing wastewater and the flocculant are mixed in the feed chamber and accelerated to ensure The slag wastewater enters the separation zone in an optimal state.

Then, in the clarification stage, under the action of the centrifugal force of the screw discharge decanter centrifuge, the flocculated particles are quickly separated and settled in the straight section of the drum, and the separated supernatant is discharged through the mouth provided at the end of the drum. The settled solids are then pushed by the auger to the discharge end, and the sludge is further compressed by the centrifugal force and the pore water is released.

In the conical section of the spiral discharge decanter centrifuge drum, the waste cement slag is subjected to biaxial compression, and the auger is appropriately designed to generate a pressing force in the axial direction. The capillary water is further extruded by the compression of the centrifuge. When the amount of sludge entering the centrifuge and the mud quality change, in order to maintain the optimal dewatering effect at all times, the total amount of solids in the drum of the centrifuge is continuously controlled.

In order to improve the working efficiency of the screw discharge sedimentation centrifuge, the reforming process considers the mechanical sedimentation first, and the polyester amide is used as the flocculant to increase the solid content of the wastewater, and then enter the spiral discharge sedimentation centrifuge.
