There is still a certain difference between the high speed 3 phase centrifuge and the two-phase centrifuge. First, the two-phase centrifuge consists of a base, a hood, a main bearing, a drum, a screw, a differential, a drive system, and a control system. The drum and the spiral rotate at a high speed in the same direction at a differential speed, and the material enters the spiral inner cylinder through the feeding pipe, and enters the rotating drum from the feeding port.

 

Under the action of centrifugal force, the heavier solid phase material is deposited on the wall of the drum to form a sediment layer, and the spiral continuously pushes the deposited solid phase material to the cone end of the drum, and is discharged outside the machine through the slag discharge port. The lighter liquid phase material forms an inner liquid ring, which overflows the drum continuously from the overflow end of the drum and exits the machine through the liquid discharge port.

 

The high speed 3 phase centrifuge is different. It is mainly used for solid-liquid separation, that is, separation of a solid phase and two liquid phases with different densities. The drum and the spiral rotate at a high speed in the same direction at a differential speed, and the material enters the spiral inner cylinder through the feeding pipe, and enters the rotating drum from the feeding port.

 

Under the action of centrifugal force, the solid phase material is deposited on the wall of the drum to form a sediment layer. The two liquid materials form a light liquid phase ring and a heavy liquid phase ring respectively, and the solid phase layer and the heavy liquid are sequentially inward from the drum wall. Phase layer and light liquid layer. The spiral continuously pushes the solid phase material deposited on the drum wall to the end of the drum cone, and exits the machine through the slag discharge port. The light liquid phase and the heavy liquid phase are continuously overflowed by different overflow ports at the big end of the drum, thereby achieving three-phase separation.
